Melissa is a lifelong Florida resident, though she was born in Georgia, her childhood was spent in the Dixie, Gilchrist, Levy and Suwannee County areas on the banks of the historic Suwannee River, area beaches or in the woods with family and friends enjoying our areas' vast supply of natural recreation. She and her husband Gregg, married for 20+ years have passed that love of nature on to their four children.

Melissa has been actively involved in the North Central Florida area while raising her family, including serving the community as Pregnancy Care Center Director and Director of Outreach and Worship at her local church for a number of years. As a small business owner with a combined 30 years of experience in customer service and hospitality industries, she understands the level of care and importance of integrity in every circumstance.
